Ankle Instability

Ankle instability is a condition that can happen when the outside ligaments of the ankle become stretched.

Ankle instability creates a sense of weakness and frequent rolling of the ankle. It is typically caused by severe or repeated ankle sprains, and may also be caused by a sprain that doesn’t heal properly.
