Foot Fungus

Foot fungus is a highly spreadable skin infection in the webs of the toes and soles of the feet that causes extreme itching, burning, scaling, and pain. In extreme cases, blistering and cracking may occur.

Foot fungus grows in warm, moist environments such as shoes, socks, swimming pools, locker rooms, and the floors of public showers. Wearing clean, dry socks and well-ventilated shoes can help prevent an outbreak. Foot fungus is commonly referred to as Athlete’s Foot.
