Limb Length Discrepancy

Limb length discrepancy (or LLD) is a condition in which one’s arms or legs are of unequal lengths. Though LLD is typically found in children, whether congenital or developmental, it can also be the result of an injury that leads to shortening of the bone ends. A person with LLD tends to compensate for the shortened limb, often leading to additional musculoskeletal issues.
